About Me

Riding the Ferris wheelWriting about who you are is a difficult task.  How do you describe all that you are in a few words? Here is a snapshot of who I am.

I am a devoted follower of Christ, who has accepted the call of ministry on his life.  I give my time working with children and youth both in and out of the church.  I am employed as Foster Parent Recruiter and Trainer for a company called Youth Villages.  It is my job to identify, recruit and train families who are willing to open their homes and heart to children who are in need, and placed in the foster care system.

Well that is my job but not who I am?

I give all the time I can to three things. First of all my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I am a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.  I hold two degrees in Ministry. One is focused in Youth Ministry and the second degree is focused in Urban Ministry.  I serve my local church as a small group leader, a Youth Leader, and the coordinator of our Youth Prayer Ministry.  My wife and have followed God to First Baptist Church in Columbia where we serve and do our best to raise our daughter in the ways of the Lord.

After being a servant to Jesus Christ, I am a grateful husband to a loving and beautiful wife named April.  We live in the somewhat small town of Columbia, TN.  There are many things in my life that I have done that are good and perhaps even noble.  But none of them no matter how big, or great have earned me the wonderful gift of such a loving, devoted, and wonderful wife that I have been given. Everyday I seek to lead her, and our family, and serve as best I can.

And last, and definetly not least, I am the proud father of that beautiful girl you see pictured above.  April and I have one daughter, Madison Lee.  She is the apple of her daddy’s eye.  Everyday I can’t wait to see her, spend time with her and I hope that one day the Lord will give me the oppurtunity to play some part in leading her to know the Lord as her personal savior.  I know that I might be biased but she has a heart of gold , and a razor sharp mind thatis well beyond her three years.

I love to read and stretch my mind through different research, and learning projects.  For fun I like to write stories, play golf, hang out with my family and have a lot of fun enjoying the gifts that God has given me!
